Rohit Rampal, the Founder and CEO of Hitman Group, has left an indelible mark on the Malaysian entertainment industry. Through his humble beginnings as a DJ, he built valuable connections that paved the way for him to establish Hitman Solutions in 2009. His early successes included bringing Bollywood legends like Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit to Malaysian stages. Over the years, his vision expanded to include a diverse array of international acts, establishing Hitman Solutions as a top concert event planner.
Rohit’s journey began with a passion for music at 15, evolving from a DJ and hype man into a music producer. His academic background in Business Administration and Multimedia Systems further enhanced his expertise in event management. In 2019, a new chapter began for Rohit and the Hitman Solutions team as they successfully merged all subsidiaries—HNAV, HitLED, Hitman Media, and Hitman Solutions—under the brand Hitman Group.
Under his leadership, Hitman Solutions has organised over 80 concerts and collaborated with more than 200 artists, including international stars like Sum 41, Incubus, (G)I-DLE, and NE-YO, as well as local legends like Ella, Bunkface, and Dolla.
As one of the foremost concert promoters in Malaysia, Rohit’s guidance and Hitman Group’s innovative approach have been evident even during challenging times. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team worked hard in creating Malaysia’s first full 180° LED stage, The Live Lounge. This cutting-edge platform for virtual events not only opened new revenue streams but also reinforced Hitman Group’s leadership in the industry.
Rohit’s philosophy that, inspired by the late Marilyn Monroe’s words, "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together" underscores his commitment to navigating and overcoming obstacles.
